Alejandro Diego Von Dorrer - Co-Founder & President
Alejandro Diego Von Dorrer, president of Ollin VFX, Latin America’s first and largest high-end visual effects studio. With more than 25 years of experience, he has worked as a VFX Supervisor and Producer on major film and television productions while helping grow Ollin VFX into a global industry player.
An entrepreneur and innovator, Alejandro also created V-Slate, a production-side VFX software platform used throughout the industry. His credits include The Killer, Deadpool, House of Cards, Suicide Squad, The Boys, Mank, and Outer Range, among many others.
Alejandro was named Time Warner Expansion Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006. A former NCAA Division I tennis player at Rice University, he is also a licensed private pilot and PADI-certified scuba diver.
Joyce Boll - Partner & Executive Producer
Joyce brings decades of experience across the New York post-production and entertainment industries. She has launched and led ventures across five continents for companies including Sony Music, Virgin Management, and Oxygen Media.
Since joining Ollin VFX in 2024, Joyce has helped expand the company’s presence in London, New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Her extensive industry network has led to collaborations with acclaimed directors including Spike Lee, David Fincher, Wes Anderson, Darren Aronofsky, M. Night Shyamalan, Julie Taymor, and Olivia Wilde.
Her credits span projects such as Nanny, Cabrini, Russian Doll, Asteroid City, Black Swan, Life of Pi, Outer Range, and Dexter: New Blood.
Joyce is also passionate about developing the next generation of artists through teaching, lecturing, and advising at institutions including SVA, NYU, and Ringling College of Art and Design. She is a member and former board member of the New York chapter of the Visual Effects Society.
Creative Director & Senior VFX Supervisor NY & CDMX
Yabin Morales is Creative Director and Senior VFX Supervisor at Ollin VFX, where his creative vision has shaped virtually every project produced by the studio. Combining conceptual design with deep expertise in CG, 2D, and emerging AI technologies, Yabin is known for turning ambitious creative ideas into visually compelling realities.
His work has made him a trusted collaborator for leading directors and VFX supervisors across film and television. His credits include The Killer, Mank, Deadpool, Suicide Squad, The Boys, Mr. Robot, House of Cards, Outer Range, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, among many others.
Based between Mexico City and New York City, Yabin brings a global perspective to his work and, outside the studio, enjoys exploring the diverse food scenes of both cities.
Jason M. Halverson - UK VFX Supervisor
Jason M. Halverson is Ollin VFX’s UK VFX Supervisor, bringing more than 30 years of experience and over 60 major film and television credits to the team. He began his career at Tippett Studio and Industrial Light & Magic before relocating to London, where he has continued working on some of the industry’s most ambitious productions.
Known for his deep technical expertise and collaborative leadership style, Jason has built a reputation for creating positive, highly productive teams on both the vendor and client sides of production.
His credits include House of the Dragon, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Gladiator II, Guardians of the Galaxy, Skyfall, Watchmen, The Matrix Reloaded, and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, among many others.
Based in the UK, Jason leads Ollin VFX’s London team with a hands-on, boutique approach to visual effects supervision.
Manda Cheung - NY/NJ VFX Supervisor
Manda Cheung is Ollin VFX’s NY/NJ VFX Supervisor, bringing extensive experience across film and television to the team. Throughout her career, she has worked on projects for acclaimed directors including Darren Aronofsky, Wes Anderson, the Coen Brothers, David O. Russell, Phillip Noyce, and Neil Burger.
Known for her sharp creative eye, deep 2D expertise, and straightforward approach to problem-solving, Manda has built a strong reputation among both clients and colleagues. Her technical versatility and collaborative style allow her to develop efficient, creative solutions for even the most complex visual effects challenges.
Her Production VFX Supervisor credits include The Morning Show, Girls5eva, The Good Fight, Dying for Sex, and Suspicion. Her vendor-side credits include Alien: Earth, Poker Face, Supacell, The Queen’s Gambit, Russian Doll, Dexter: New Blood, The Walking Dead, Black Swan, Life of Pi, Moonrise Kingdom, and Captain America, among many others.
Liz Christofaro - Global Head of Production
Liz Christofaro is Ollin VFX’s Global Head of Production, bringing extensive experience leading complex film and television productions and building high-performing teams across both the client and vendor sides of visual effects.
Known for her people-first leadership style, strong attention to detail, and ability to balance creative goals with production demands, Liz has built a reputation for creating collaborative environments where artists are supported and projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Her show-side credits include Weapons, Count My Lies, L.A.’s Finest, Captive State, See, and Maniac, with additional production experience on The Irishman. Her vendor-side credits include Caught Stealing, The Better Sister, Elsbeth, Supacell, Good Omens, Outer Range, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Nobody, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Hail, Caesar!, Zoolander 2, and Joy, among many others.
As Global Head of Production, Liz combines creative leadership, talent development, and thoughtful production management to help teams deliver ambitious work while maintaining Ollin VFX’s collaborative, boutique approach.
